Since graduating with Distinction from The Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2007 (Postgraduate Diploma in Performance), Christopher has gained considerable renown as a performer and teacher. In addition to regular recitals as a solo guitarist, he continues to work in a variety of ensemble situations, and as a versatile session musician for projects such as contemporary compositions and film scores.
Awarded an Entrance Scholarship on admission to the Royal Academy, Chris studied with Timothy Walker, also attending classes with Michael Lewin, John Mills, and a wealth of visiting performers and composers. He had previously pursued Music alongside wider academic endeavours; a BA (Joint Honours) in French & Philosophy from The University of Nottingham was complemented by private Guitar lessons with Carlos Bonell.
Christopher has given numerous performances at sea, initially as Guitarist / Assistant Cruise Director with the Seabourn cruise line, but subsequently balancing engagements as a guest concert artist with his various activities on land.
Current teaching commitments range from schools and guitar societies, to the busy London offices of international law firms (with the Music In Offices agency); in addition to Guitar, Chris plays and teaches Piano and Violin.
